Spring concert 2026
7.00 pm, 14th February 2026, at St. John’s Parish Church, Newland, Hull
Brahms: Ein deutsches Requiem
Soloists: Lucy Bates (soprano) and James Gaughan (baritone)
Dvořák: Symphony No. 6
Rehearsal dates
Friday 13th February, from 7.00 at St. John’s Newland, the concert venue. Brahms first, so choir required from 7.00
Saturday 14th February, from 2.00 p.m. Detailed schedule to follow.
Concert dress
Black trousers or skirt with a plain coloured top – no patterns, please.
Black or white counts as a colour if that is what you have got.
No tie required but wear one if you like.
A black or plain coloured jacket or cardigan is fine over your plain coloured top.
Make sure you are going to be warm enough!
